I can’t say enough good things about the Magnechef Silicone BBQ Gloves! As someone who loves everything from grilling and baking to frying and smoking meats, these gloves are incredibly versatile. They’ve become my go-to tool for just about any cooking task.One of the best features is how easy they are to clean—just rinse them or toss them in the dishwasher and they’re good as new. But the real game-changer is the magnetic clips. The easy on, easy off design is brilliant. I can slip them off in seconds to answer my phone, grab a drink, shake someone’s hand, and slide right back in to keep cooking without missing a beat.I was so impressed after my first use that I immediately bought several more pairs to give as gifts. Every single person I’ve given them to has told me how much they love them. If you cook, grill, or even just reheat food, do yourself a favor and grab a pair. You won’t go back to your old gloves again!

Super easy to use, user friendly. Grip is great. I bought gloves before and could barely hold on to meat without it sliding around, so I was happy to see this not happen with this product. The magnet idea is awesome and definitely sets it apart from other companies. Hope they come out with more product in the future.

At first, it takes some getting used to using gloves for prepping food. Having always used my bare hands, I was used to having to wash my hands every 10 seconds. The gloves give you a free hand to season the food or pick up anything (phone, beverage). A quick wash later and you can use them to handle very hot food and pull the food out of the oven, grill, or bbq with ease. The gauntlet style make it easy to put on and remove with great protection well past my wrist. A magnet holds the gloves together at the inside wrist. It's strong enough not to allow them to seperate on their own but not too strong to give you any problem when I put them to use. They are especially good for pulling pork. The design still allows good dexterity to handle the food so I didn't need tongs. When you're done clean up was easy. Just put'em in the dishwasher.

These are the second pair I purchased. What a great concept. I've used them for BBQ's, in the kitchen, and even for making S'mores over a campfire. They're extremely heat resistive, and also glow in the dark. Being able to easily remove one glove (magnetically), is genius. From seasoning, to drinking a cold one with a clean hand...A definite must have!

Bought the blue ones and LOVE them. That magnetic clip makes opening doors and sprinkling spices a piece of cake w my barehand. Use them for deep frying a turkey, moving hot charcoal grill racks, and taking soft meats off the racks so they don’t fall apart! Got the original model off of Kickstarter and the new model is even better (much more pliable and a longer cuff). They donate money to children burn victims too as an added bonus.

I use these at work every single day 10 hour days three meals a day my ovens are 450° absolutely no problems ever.... no more Burns.... Hot liquids like gravies, sauces, pans coming in and out of the ovens, I rinse them off in the sink....ready to go again... The magnet is also extremely handy when seasoning or stirring. Obviously I don't answer my phone at work but if I ever need it to I definitely could.. Over the Thanksgiving holiday sanitized them and used them to take apart and debone the 12 turkeys we had absolutely no problems would definitely buy again if I ever need to but like I said before extremely durable they will last you..Mike H.

I'm not a barbecue person so this review will be a little different. I make my dog's food in a pressure cooker, and for the past 2 years I've used forks to break the food apart and mix it. It's extremely messy, annoying, difficult, and uncomfortable to do, specially if the food is still hot. I got these gloves and now I can just mash the food up using my hands and it's 100000x easier. I wait a bit for the food to cool down, but even while it's hot these gloves just make it so easy to get in there to pull apart chicken and mash vegetables.I can't believe I've been using forks and burning my hands to mash up this food for so long. The gloves are super easy to rinse and I just put them in the dishwasher to clean.

No more fearing you are going to drop it because it is hot! These are freaking great gloves. Good grip even if greasy. Hot food will not burn your hands. Use then indoors as well when craving food out of the oven.

Magnets are strong.

My husband loves these! He says we finally found a pair that fit his giant monster hands and the ease of removing without the struggle is awesome!

The magnet is good but a little tricky. Also they get very hot in the sun. Need to keep them in The shade

Easy to clean, and pretty heat resistant as I use them for grilling and baking. If your hands are a little sweaty or wet they don’t come off easy especially if they are a little oily on the outside and hard to get a grip. I mostly use them to pull apart and shrewd meats.

Love them! As with other reviews, it would be nice to have a stronger magnet. However I would purchase these again and would recommend.

These gloves worked great for picking up hot meat. They also were excellent for pulling the pork shoulder that I had smoked. I am glad they removed the nibs and installed the wavy ridges instead, I am fairly certain the nibs would have worn off in time.

Good but not as handy as I believed. Magnetic clasps for removing etc.

I've been a professional Pitmaster for over 25 years and own a successful Bbq joint in Miami. These gloves stand up to the task of a commercial cooking/smoking /grilling environment with flying colors. For the everyday cook they're definitely an excellent addition to your culinary arsenal. 5 stars.

These are great!! Like seriously great. Sure, they’re not individual fingers so you gotta be Spock, but that’s fine. The magnet makes them super handy (pun intended) when you need a free and clean hand!

These are terrific for pulling out super hot cast irons pans from the oven

You can grab the 450-degree metal rotisserie rod and pull it out of the grill and hold it for about 20 or so seconds before it is necessary for you to put it down. You need to use that 20 seconds wisely. The silicone retains the heat so if you wait too long to put it down it will continue to burn your fingers after you release the metal rod. You'll be scrambling to get the hot gloves off your hands.I take the rod out... set it and the cooked meat down on a tempered glass cutting board next to the grill fairly quickly. Then I turn the metal screws holding the meat forks in place, slide out the hot rod and set it down. That rod is still so hot it hisses and steams when it hits the water but I can't feel a thing holding it with the gloves. I can also grab the hot metal forks and slide them out with those small breaks in-between touching the hot metal. If you are methodical your hands won't feel a thing.Please keep in mind the plastic magnetic medallions at the wrists are not at all heat resistant and mine are now ridged with apparent contact with metal... I'm totally unaware of what metal or where it happened since I'm so concentrated on not burning my upper arms as I've done in the past. The magnets still work to pull the gloves off once they heat warp... just be aware the plastic holders can easily melt while your hands are in the heat.

It's weird with the fingers being split, but the magnets make it totally worth it! It's so convenient to stick one glove to the other and free a hand to open the smoker lid and grab things with a clean hand. They glow in the dark and it's pretty cool!
